You have kids (and maybe grandkids) and friends who no longer practice their Catholic faith. This hurts. Usually it leaves you confused, doubtful, ashamed — and stuck.
We've been paralyzed before the situation too. But, there is a path forward, and it's called prayer.
The Surrender Initiative invites you to gather, to pray for your loved ones with intention, and to bond with a community of intercessors. So, don't get stuck doing nothing. Do something by handing everything over to Jesus at The Surrender Initiative prayer event on Nov. 3 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Withamsville (800 Ohio Pike Withamsville, OH 45245).
You may have more questions
Is The Surrender Initiative just a Mass service?
It is a prayer event. The very first Surrender Initiative happens Friday, November 3 at St. Thomas More Church in Withamsville (east side of Cincinnati). The doors open at 6pm for sacred music and confession. Mass follows at 7pm. We end the evening with a reception of food and drink.
Does it cost anything?
A big NO. Yes, sometimes the greatest things in life are actually free.
Am I turning my family members and friends into a project?
No. You're actually surrendering and entrusting them to Jesus. It's the opposite of turning them into a project. You're admitting they're not your project.
What if I can make it that evening? Will there be other opportunities for The Surrender Initiative?
Absolutely YES. Visit https://thesurrenderinitiative.com for more information.
I would love to Bring The Surrender Initiative to my parish. How does that work?
