On the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes
Today is the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes
In March 2019, Pam, Catherine, and I went to Lourdes to pray and discern. I went to give thanks to Saint Bernadette for answered prayers.
A deep peace resides there—an intense quiet that sits in the deepest part of the heart. The Blessed Mother is the mother of peace. She intercedes for us and gives us Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
Jesus, lead me to the quiet place of rest, where the noise of the world is silent.
On this feast day, may we turn our hearts to our Mother, to seek her guidance and intercession.
