The call to holiness is more urgent than ever.
Christ invites us into union with Him, and in doing so, we safeguard human dignity. When God is forgotten, all is lost.
The human person, created in the image and likeness of God, is called to participate in the divine life.
Cut off from God, we lose His splendor, for He is the source of all beauty and meaning. The vulnerable and the weak are discarded and forgotten. Truly, this is the deep wound of our age.
To walk in holiness is to recover the radiance of our true identity.
When God Disappears, men and women do not become greater; indeed, they lose the divine dignity, their faces lose God’s splendor. In the end, they turn out to be merely products of a blind evolution and, as such, can be used and abused. This is precisely what the experience of our epoch has confirmed for us.
